
Completion of this class will assist you in selling and maintaining
the Avaya IP Office System
This two day course is designed to enable telephone technicians to install, program and maintain the Avaya IP Office 500 system, Voicemail Pro and Delta Server Software. Training is interactive with participants performing installation and programming functions on a live system. Information will be presented in both verbal and written form followed-up by testing. Optional Friday workshops now available at no additional charge. LAPTOPS REQUIRED.

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Identify and describe IP Office hardware components
- Install and perform initial configuration of the IP Office system
- Install and administer the Manager, Voicemail Pro, & Delta Server software
- Set-up accounts and privileges
- Configure hardware resources
- Configure trunks (analog, PRI, and IP)
- Configure T1/PRI parameters
- Program terminals and sets
- Program system features and functions
- Install and program IP sets
- Use Voicemail Pro mailboxes
- Configure auto-attendant
- Configure 1-touch options, dial-by-name, and scheduling
- Perform important back-up and restore programming
- Upgrading the IP Office
Prerequisite Skills:
- Basic fundamental computer skills: How to load a CDROM, How to use a flash drive, How to copy and paste information
- Knowledge of telephone installation and wiring
- Basic T1/PRI knowledge
- Must have a current active email account
